My approach.

I don’t take a boilerplate approach in what I do. Every brand, project, or client has different needs. Let’s talk to decide what will be most beneficial to your business.

The best thing a business or brand can do is to empathize with consumers and understand broader cultural forces. Often the solution to your toughest business challenges lies in getting a deeper understanding of people and the pains and joys that impact their lives.

My availability.

I work with founders, startups, SMEs, B2B, and B2C; you name it, I’m game. I’m also available to work with ad agencies that need freelance coverage.

I’m adept at jumping into a project, getting my bearings, and getting rolling.

Things I can do for you: brand positioning, usability testing, market research, creative briefs, trend reports, new business pitches, messaging strategies, competitive audits, audience personas, workshops & brainstorms, consumer research (primary & secondary)

My background.

Originally from the East Coast in the US, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, after graduating college in St. Louis. I like to think I have an East Coast zest with Midwest sensibilities. I began my advertising career in Minneapolis, working at some fantastic agencies: Fallon, Martin Williams, Colle McVoy, and Carmichael Lynch. During my ad agency days, I worked on both regional and national brands, B2B and B2C, and briefed creative teams for everything from TV ads to quirky social campaigns.

Since moving to Zürich, Switzerland, I began my career as a freelancer and consultant. I truly enjoy bringing a fresh perspective and reframing branding and marketing problems for my clients.
